I am Zoia Mozghova, an artist from Ukraine. Art has always been a part of my life. Since childhood, I was surrounded by incredibly talented musicians and composers. Their creativity inspired me and made me wonder: what gift lies within me? For many years, I searched for the answer, and only now, after going through various stages of life, crises, highs, and lows, I have found myself and my calling in painting.

Over the past nine years, the world has become my home. I have visited more than 20 countries and lived in different corners of the world — from the Philippines to Spain, from Portugal to the UAE. Today, Germany has become my home, where I have not only found a place for my soul but also met my muse and love, who has become a source of inspiration and support. Each country I have lived in was not just a geographical location; it was a living source of energy and new experiences, like another layer on the canvas of my life. Traveling, as a unique experience, has filled me with the diversity of cultures, stories, colors, and sounds that resonate deeply within my heart and find reflection in my art. The brush in my hand is a tool through which I express what cannot be conveyed with words.

My painting is a journey toward inner freedom and truth, a liberation from the chains of the mind and its conditioning. In 2023, during my time in India, I began a process of deep inner transformation that brought me closer to myself and my true essence. This marked the beginning of a dance of colors and forms, chaos and harmony, that emerge on the canvas in moments of connection with something greater within. I choose bright, contrasting colors because they come alive in their blending, layering over each other like emotions, memories, and dreams that shape who we are.

In my work, I explore what touches me most deeply: the journey of self-discovery, the acceptance of vulnerability and strength, and finding beauty in imperfection. For me, art is not just lines and colors; it is an opportunity to touch something greater than myself. Every brushstroke is a trace of my path, a step toward inner peace and unity with the world.
